Primary Duties Position Summary:

Performs specific duties necessary for the support of the food and nutrition department.





Specific Responsibilities:



____ Gathers utensils necessary for serving entree items for breakfast, lunch and dinner.



____ Assists in putting out items on trailing for all meals.



____ Places meal selections on plate according to menu.



____ Cleans assigned areas. Removes pots, cleans cold tables.



____ Removes any leftover plates from patient service and brings to dish room.



____ Stocks line with required items for meal service.



____ Places required items on patient trays in specified locations according to menu selection.



____ Cleans cold stations, wipes counters, puts away supplies and cleans refrigerators.



____ Gathers any items needed for station and places in appropriate place.



____ Brews coffee for service. Checks area for necessary items including mugs/lids, disposable cups, grease pencil, creamers, milks.



____ Places coffee, tea water, decaf coffee and frozen desserts in designated spot on try according to menu selection.



____ Wipes coffee station, pushes cup racks to dish room, replenishes supplies as needed.



____ Delivers all late meal calls. Sets up complimentary dinners.



____ Serves trays to patients according to tray deliveries schedule.



____ Collects all trays from patient rooms and pantries using cart.



____ Cleans carts and assists in cleaning silverware. Pushes carts with covers and trays from dish room to main kitchen. Clean carts and mat trays. Breaks down patient trays in dish room.



____ Fills SDS orders according to requisition.
