| Holy Name Medical Center is the only Medical Center in the area bringing the Hybrid Ambulance to the community. This program combines Advanced Life Support (ALS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) in one vehicle. It offers both ambulance service and state-of-the-art technology in a single Mobile Intensive Care Unit commanded by two MICU paramedics and one EMT. The hybrid ambulance’s advanced operation expedites and facilitates the transport of critical care patients to acute care facilities. |
