The Rhythm of Your Heart

Schedule Thursday, May 30, 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Description Our hearts beat 60 - 100 times a minute and most times we are not even aware of it. Occasionally, that regular beat becomes irregular, and we may or may not feel the difference. Irregular heartbeats can be responsible for dizziness and fainting. And one irregular beat, atrial fibrillation, can put us at greater risk for strokes if left untreated. Learn more about cardiac arrhythmias and about an innovative new way of detecting irregular beats called Implantable Loop Recorders (ILR).
