DayAway Program (Adult Day Care)
Holy Name Hospital's DayAway program offers a variety of health-related services for the frail elderly, physically handicapped or cognitively impaired. Our staff of health care professionals assesses and monitors clients on an ongoing basis and collaborates with our medical director to meet any changes in their healthcare needs. DayAway's homelike atmosphere also enhances independence, socialization and mental stimulation.
Daily Services Include:
- Individual/group activities
- Medication administration
- Exercise program
- Hot lunch and snack
- Respite for caregivers
- Health education
DayAway offers a monthly support group for families and/or caregivers.
DayAway is open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. except for designated holidays. It is located directly across the street from Holy Name Hospital at 725 Teaneck Road. The building is handicapped accessible and parking is available on site.
