The Hospice Department provides services for patients whose illness no longer responds to cure-oriented treatment. Hospice care is provided in patients' own homes and at selected Bergen County nursing homes that are affiliated with Holy Name Hospital. Hospice provides skilled nursing care, social services, pastoral care, home health aide services, spiritual/grief counseling, pain management, short-term respite and inpatient care at the hospital, and a follow-up bereavement program.
