General Radiology Studies
General diagnostic radiologic studies include X-rays and fluoroscopic studies that produce images of bones, organs, and internal tissues. Examples of diagnostic radiologic studies include chest X-rays, X-rays of the bones, barium exams of the gastrointestinal tract, pyelograms that examine the urinary tract, and radiologic tests using contrast medium to examine the bile ducts (cholangiograms) and gallbladder (cholecystograms).
