HNH Fitness is offering a medical fitness program that is open to the public. You do not need to be a member of HNH Fitness to take theses Medical Fitness classes.

Medical Fitness classes run in six-week sessions, $80 for the first six-week session and $60 for each subsequent six-week session.

Note: All Medical Fitness classes are free for HNH Fitness members.
Balance, Basics and Beyond

Schedule: Fridays at 11:45 AM Trainer: Faith

Description: This class is a gentle, chair-based exercise class that is recommended for all fitness levels. It is designed to improve the quality of life for individuals diagnosed with medical conditions such as osteoporosis, Arthritis, multiple sclerosis and chronic pain. This class is also ideal for people with general physical limitations. Light weights and other fitness equipment may be used to build muscle strength, balance and flexibility. The pilates concept will also be introduced.
Chair Yoga

Schedule: Mondays at 1:30 PM Trainer: Lina

Description: One of the gentlest forms of yoga, Chair Yoga, is designed for people who can not get down on a mat and is done in a chair for extra support. Chair Yoga has been proven to help people with symptoms of many health issues, including cardiac issues, hypertension, anxiety, chronic fatigue syndrome, arthritis, vertigo, multiple sclerosis, carpel tunnel syndrome and chronic pain.
Delay the Disease

Schedule: Tuesdays at 12:30 PM Trainer: Lina

Description: Delay the Disease is a fitness program designed to empower people with Parkinson's Disease (PD) by optimizing their physical function and helping to delay the progression of symptoms. It is the foundation for exercise classes geared specifically to counteract the movement challenges experienced by the people with Parkinson's.
