Campaign for Villa Marie Claire to Hold 2nd Annual Benefit
"An Evening in Provence" to raise funds for Saddle River landmark
The Campaign for Villa Marie Claire through Holy Name Health Care Foundation will hold its second Annual Benefit. This year's event, titled "An Evening in Provence" will be held on Friday, June 3 at 7 pm at the Indian Trail Club in Franklin Lakes, NJ.
Attracting local community leaders to its cause, the Campaign for Villa Marie Claire is raising awareness and funds for this unique and first-of-its-kind residential hospice and palliative care facility.
"The Villa Marie Claire Hospice represents an important extension of healthcare that our community needs to recognize," said Terrie O'Connor an Upper Saddle River resident and proprietor of Terrie O'Connor Realtors. "The Villa has already made a tremendous impact and will continue to do so for so many families in need of hospice care. We're creating An Evening in Provence to be an elegant event featuring French wines and fine food reminiscent of the South of France. I hope others will support the Villa through this event."
Other Benefit Committee members who have joined forces to organize An Evening in Provence include: Peter Fenzel of Allendale, Ann Laraia of Englewood Cliffs, Carla Vique of North Caldwell, Linda Barba of Fort Lee, Patricia Blaszko of Hillsdale, Mary Conway and Margi Lemaire both from Franklin Lakes, and Evelyn Berry, Niva Donohue, Diana Frankel, Barbara Gross, Maria Harper, Lourdes Mulkay, and Teresa A. Tosi, Esq., all from Saddle River, NJ.
Villa Marie Claire officially opened its doors in January of this year welcoming patients into a warm, home-like environment and providing overnight accommodations for loved ones. "Villa Marie Claire has been a project very near and dear to my heart," said Charles Vialotti, MD, medical director for Villa Marie Claire. "Our vision for the Villa is exceptional. It encompasses a new experience for life's final journey both for patients and their loved ones. In the final stages of life, there is still life to live and positive memories to be made."
Holy Name Health Care Foundation's Campaign for Villa Marie Claire is working to raise funds to fulfill the vision of Villa Marie Claire – to provide superb compassion and end-of-life care for terminally ill patients and support for their loved ones.
