Holy Name Medical Center Hospice And Palliative Services Bereavement Support Group

Date: 3/25/2014

Holy Name Medical Center Hospice and Palliative Services offers a bereavement program to provide compassionate support and education to those who are bereaved. As many people experiencing the loss of a loved one find comfort in sharing their feelings with one another, a bereavement group, "Sharing the Journey," was developed as part of our bereavement program to provide support and guidance during the grieving process.  The group is non-sectarian and will be facilitated by trained bereavement counselors.  "Sharing the Journey" will meet for eight weeks and is open to those who have experienced loss in the past year.   In order to accommodate the needs of our participants, the group meetings are being offered both on Tuesday mornings from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. beginning on April 22nd OR Wednesday evenings from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. beginning April 23rd.

The program is free, but pre-registration is required by April 18th. To register or for additional information, please leave a message for Claudia Coenen at (201) 833-3188-7483.
