Visitor Policy

Visiting hours are seven days a week, from 12:00 p.m. (noon) to 8:00 p.m. only, with the following changes in effect as of Friday, December 29, 2023:

Below are the visitor restrictions until further notice:
  • Wearing a well-fitted surgical mask is required for all staff, licensed practitioners, volunteers, visitors and patients in areas where direct patient care is rendered throughout the Holy Name system.
  • Staff, licensed practitioners and volunteers may choose to not wear a mask when not providing direct patient care in areas (such as but not limited to nursing stations, break rooms, office spaces, the cafeteria and hallways).
  • Additional personal protective equipment (PPE) remains a requirement for room entry into any patient's room who are on transmission based precautions.
  • Visitors under the age of 14 will not be permitted throughout the Holy Name system.
  • Visitors seeking entry in the following units must be at least 18 years of age: ICU, 3 Marian, 3 Chadwick, Special Care Nursery, Pediatrics, and Labor and Delivery.
  • The current policy of no more than 2 visitors per patient at a time at inpatient areas will be strictly enforced. All visitors must wear a well-fitted surgical mask during their visit.
  • For the ER only, the current policy of no more than 1 visitor per patient at a time will be strictly enforced.
  • Visitors experiencing any respiratory or gastrointestinal symptoms or anyone who has been diagnosed or exposed to respiratory viruses are asked to stay home.
