|Vincent Gallo, MD, is an interventional radiologist at Holy Name Medical Center's Interventional Institute.|
He earned his Bachelor of Science with a minor in biology from Quinnipiac University and obtained his medical degree from the American University of Antigua School of Medicine.
In addition to completing a radiology residency and interventional radiology fellowship at SUNY Downstate, Dr. Gallo is also board certified in internal medicine. During his interventional radiology fellowship, he served as the chief resident of the training program.
Dr. Gallo has a special interest in interventional oncology, uterine fibroid embolization, chronic venous insufficiency, and vertebral body compression fractures. He has recently implemented the treatment of chronic headaches/migraines into the practice by performing a nerve block using a small painless catheter.
He utilizes his extensive training on a daily basis by providing clinically focused compassionate care while performing cutting-edge minimally-invasive surgical procedures.
