Dr. Sandra Giron is board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. She joined the practice in 2001. She is a graduate of NYU Downtown Hospital Residency program, and received her Doctor of Medicine degree from S.U.N.Y Syracuse Health Service Center. Dr. Giron is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Giron provides a full range of services from family planning and pre-pregnancy visits to infertility testing and treatment, while also handling high-risk pregnancies compromised by blood disorders, obesity, high blood pressure and diabetes, through labor and delivery. "I think that, as a woman, my patients can more freely discuss certain subjects that they might normally be a bit hesitant about, such as heavy menstrual periods and post partum depression.
