Dr. Dennis J. Pfisterer, (Jr.), is an orthopedic surgeon, who treats all types of orthopedic injuries, with surgical and non-surgical treatment options. He focuses on the treatment of knee, hip and shoulder injuries but also has expertise with injuries to all extremities. Dr. Pfisterer uses his advanced training to provide his patients with the best orthopedic procedures that meet their individual needs. He is pleased to offer patient's many new and innovative techniques, such as arthroscopic and endoscopic surgery, minimally invasive, and robotic surgery.
After receiving his bachelor's degree in economics from College of The Holy Cross, Dr. Pfisterer earned his medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. He then completed his orthopedic residency at Wellspan York College, York Pennsylvania, Sinai Hospital and the University of Maryland, Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore Maryland. He has been a contributing author to many scientific publications and has presented his work at national orthopedic conferences.
Dr. Pfisterer holds the position of Orthopedic Administrative, Clinical Director for Sports Health Services at Holy Name Medical Center. He is currently the team Orthopedic Surgeon for Bergen Catholic High School and Fairleigh Dickinson University.
