Sanah Parvez, MD, is a medical oncologist and earned her medical degree at the Aga Khan University. She followed this with a research fellowship at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine, where she studied how patients with chronic diseases measure their quality of life.
She completed her residency training in internal medicine at the University of Texas in Houston and then received advanced training in hematology and medical oncology through a fellowship at the University of Texas Southwestern Simmons Comprehensive Cancer Center in Dallas. She is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Society of Hematology.
For Dr. Parvez, the most rewarding aspect of her work is the relationships she develops with her patients while offering them advanced, personalized care tailored to meet their needs. She selected this branch of medicine with the intention of actively participating in aiding individuals to maintain their optimal quality of life while addressing their illlness.
