Holy Name's Sister Claire Tynan School of Nursing Alumni Association is dedicated to supporting the educational and clinical experiences of our nursing students and faculty. This loyal group raises money each year for merit scholarships for the best and brightest freshmen and seniors, with awards announced at graduation in June.
For academic year 2021-2022, money raised from the Alumni Association's annual scholarship appeal helped to fund three awards for graduating seniors:
Scholarship award funds are applied toward tuition at other accredited institutions as the students continue their nursing education.
For those students who are Freshman and moving up to their Senior year, they are eligible for the seven awards below and they only need to complete one application to apply for all:
Finally, this year we are delighted to be awarding The Marie Jensen Memorial Scholarship sponsored by the Clarke family in the amount of $1,000 specifically for those students who entered the LPN-RN program in January 2022.
Scholarships are a way to make a meaningful gift on behalf of a friend or family member. If you wish to make a donation to the scholarship program or to sponsor a scholarship in honor or in memory of a loved one, please visit holyname.org/foundation or contact dbreglia@holyname.org.
Scholarship Applications, for enrolled students only, are available on May 4, 2022 and are due no later than May 16, 2022. Please click below to apply.
