As the Chair of OB/GYN at Holy Name, Dr. Andrea Hubschmann believes that all women deserve high-quality, deeply personal care. She strives to ensure that her patients feel listened to, valued, and safe. The most rewarding part of her work is developing trusted relationships with her patients and supporting them through some of the most important moments of their life.
In addition to caring for patients and overseeing the OB/GYN department, Dr. Hubschmann is also Associate Program Director of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program. She is passionate about training the next generation of physicians and bringing the latest evidence-based practices to patients. Her non-clinical work focuses on quality improvement to develop better programs and processes for women’s health. She is proud to be at Holy Name because patients receive excellent, compassionate care in a uniquely personal setting that is fully backed by the expertise and advanced technology of a large institution.
Dr. Hubschmann graduated from Jefferson Medical College and completed her residency at Weill Cornell Medical Center in New York. She also earned an MBA from Johns Hopkins Carey School of Business with concentrations in Healthcare Innovation & Technology and Private and Public Sector Leadership.
