Dr. Edward Mardakhaev is a radiologist who delivers care centered on each patient's needs, preferences, and values. He is proud to be at Holy Name because it is renowned for excellent and compassionate care provided by highly skilled teams.

Dr. Mardakhaev earned his medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine with a distinction in translational science, a branch of science that takes research from the lab directly to patients. He completed residencies at Northwell Health as well as Montefiore Medical Center, where he was chief resident. He returned to Northwell for a fellowship in musculoskeletal radiology.

In addition to his clinical responsibilities, Dr. Mardakhaev is also a researcher whose work has been published in numerous prestigious medical journals. He is a member of the American College of Radiology, the Radiological Society of North America, and Society of Skeletal Radiology.
