Dr. Areej Qadri is a neonatologist who provides gentle, evidence-based care to newborns and infants that actively involves parents every step of the way. The most rewarding part of her work is seeing fragile newborns grow stronger and go home with their families. She is honored to be a part of each family’s journey and cares for each baby as her own.

Dr. Qadri earned her medical degree from Jordan University School of Medicine and completed her residency at St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Paterson, New Jersey. She completed her fellowship in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. She is actively studying family-centered care approaches that de-emphasize medication for babies with neonatal abstinence syndrome.
