Davey Named HNMC VP Development, President of HNMC Foundation

Cathleen Davey, HNMC VP Development, President of HNMC Foundation The Board of Trustees at Holy Name Medical Center today named Cathleen Davey as Vice President of Development and President of Holy Name Medical Center Foundation.

"Cathy Davey is recognized as a premiere executive who is well-known and respected throughout New Jersey’s nonprofit fundraising community," said Michael Maron, CEO and President of Holy Name Medical Center. "As we continue to confront the challenges of being one of the nation’s first hospitals hit by COVID-19, Cathy is the right person to support Holy Name’s growth and preparedness under these unique circumstances."

Davey will begin in the position on June 1, 2020. Formerly, Davey served as Vice President for Institutional Advancement at Ramapo College of New Jersey and Executive Director of its Foundation.

"For the past 25 years, I have had the wonderful opportunity to make a difference in the lives of the students and faculty," said Davey. "Now more than ever before, seeing what the healthcare community is facing as a result of this pandemic and knowing the remarkable need to support extraordinary nurses and doctors, I am honored to join the team at Holy Name. This Medical Center is known for its compassionate care and embraces innovation. I am grateful for this opportunity to work with Mike Maron to ensure the required resources are available to continue to provide world-class healthcare in our community."

Davey also sits on the Board of the Commerce and Industry Association of New Jersey (CIANJ) and the Greater Mahwah Regional Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, of which she is a past president. She currently serves on the Immaculate Heart of Academy Consultative Board and Mary Help of Christians Academy Board of Trustees.

Davey holds both a Bachelors of Arts degree in Communications and a Masters of Arts in Public and Corporate Communication from Seton Hall University. She also attended the Harvard Graduate School of Education Institute for Management and Leadership in Education and the University of Notre Dame Mendoza College of Business Certificate Program for Leaders in the Nonprofit Sector. She currently resides in Mahwah, New Jersey with her husband, Ray Corbett, and their three children Kelley, Thomas and Courtney.
