Join Holy Name for a free virtual series on stroke prevention, emergency preparedness, and recovery. Designed for patients, caregivers, and community members, this series brings together leading physicians, nurses, and specialists to help you recognize warning signs, understand your risks, and feel confident navigating emergencies.
Session 1: Where You Go in an Emergency Matters
Not all emergencies are obvious. Symptoms like dizziness, confusion, vision changes, chest discomfort, or “just not feeling right” can signal serious conditions including stroke, cardiac events, and other urgent issues.
The discussion will cover how to recognize warning signs, when to call 911 versus seeking other care, and why choosing the right emergency department matters in time-critical situations.
