Holy Name Ranked Among Best Hospitals in New Jersey for Maternity Services

Holy Name is one of the top hospitals in New Jersey for maternity services, according to the latest ranking by the U.S. News & World Report, a global authority in hospital rankings and consumer advice. U.S. News' list of "The Best Hospitals for Obstetrics & Gynecology in New Jersey" recognizes Holy Name as delivering the highest levels of quality care for mothers and newborns.

The ranking was based on a number of categories, including patient outcomes, nurse staffing, patient services, surgeries and technology. Holy Name was deemed "excellent" in advanced technologies, and "above average" in both patient services and patient experience.

More than 1,500 babies are born every year in Holy Name's Maternity Child Health Center, which offers a distinct family-centered approach to care, with advanced medical expertise, specialized support classes, and newly renovated, state-of-the-art private suites. Board-certified obstetricians/gynecologists, anesthesiologists, pediatricians, perinatologists and neonatologists are available on-site 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Holy Name also offers extensive educational programs, in addition to expanded lactation services, from pregnancy through delivery.

Holy Name continues to build upon its award-winning care by further enhancing its obstetrics and gynecology services. The Maternal Child Health Center has begun a multiphase enhancement plan to ensure every new mother has the opportunity to enjoy a private room featuring the latest conveniences and amenities.
