Holy Name Recognized on Newsweek’s America’s Greatest Workplaces in Healthcare 2026 List

June 10, 2026

Holy Name today announced it has been named one of America’s Greatest Workplaces in Healthcare 2026 by Newsweek and Plant-A Insights Group, based on an evaluation of publicly available data and large-scale confidential nationwide employee surveys. The recognition highlights organizations with at least 1,000 employees that prioritize employee well-being, strong leadership, fair compensation and work-life balance.

“We are proud to be included on Newsweek’s list of America’s Greatest Workplaces and appreciate being recognized for our commitment to fostering a culture where employees feel valued, supported and fairly compensated,” said Dennis Sparks, Chief Human Resource Officer. “Ensuring that our staff feel respected and trusted empowers them to deliver the best possible care for the patients and families we serve.”

Holy Name is a mission-driven facility whose quality standards and philosophy are rooted in the principles of its founders, the Sisters of St. Joseph of Peace. Those principles are exercised daily by the Medical Center's dedicated and talented team of physicians, nurses, allied health employees, and a wide variety of non-clinical administrative and operational staff members.

"Faced with severe post-pandemic staffing shortages and systemic burnout, the health care industry must fundamentally rethink how it supports its frontline workers,” said Jennifer H. Cunningham, Newsweek Editor-In-Chief. “Newsweek’s ranking offers a rigorous evaluation of the hospitals and care networks that are actively prioritizing provider well-being and psychological safety. By honoring institutions that champion sustainable workloads and supportive leadership, we are defining the gold standard for workplaces where care providers can truly thrive."
