Holy Name, the region’s leading independent health system, today announced it is adding four new healthcare professionals to its Holy Name Physicians, bringing the network to include more than 400 providers with locations throughout Northern New Jersey.
"Each of these healthcare professionals brings unique expertise, cultural competency and passion to their role at Holy Name,” said Dr. Vasantha Kondamudi, executive vice president and chief medical officer at Holy Name. “This expansion reflects our commitment to providing accessible, high-quality healthcare and training the next generation of medical professionals.”
Jacqueline Liza DeBenedetto, MD is a board-certified internal medicine physician who provides long-term, comprehensive care for adolescents, adults and the elderly, managing both common and complex conditions. She finds fulfillment in supporting patients through personal milestones and helping them reach their full potential. As part of her formal education and training, Dr. DeBenedetto earned her bachelor's degree from Johns Hopkins University and her medical degree from Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. She completed her residency in internal medicine at NYU Langone Health.
Eric Liberman, DO is a board-certified OB-GYN with fellowship training in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (MIGS). He holds a Focused Practice Designation in MIGS and serves as Director of Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery at Holy Name. Dr. Liberman specializes in conditions such as abnormal uterine bleeding, fibroids, endometriosis, and pelvic pain. He is skilled in robotic-assisted, laparoscopic, and hysteroscopic surgery. He earned his medical degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed residency at Saint Barnabas Medical Center, followed by a MIGS fellowship at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where he also held academic appointments. Dr. Liberman has authored research on topics such as post-operative pain and robotic surgery, with work published in leading journals and presented at national conferences.
Edward Mardakhaev, MD is a radiologist committed to patient-centered care. He is proud to join the highly skilled staff at Holy Name, known for its exceptional and compassionate patient services. Dr. Mardakhaev earned his medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine with a distinction in translational science. He completed residencies at Northwell Health and Montefiore Medical Center, where he served as chief resident, followed by a musculoskeletal radiology fellowship at Northwell. In addition to his clinical responsibilities, Dr. Mardakhaev has published extensively in leading medical journals.
Zaheer Ahmad Qureshi, MD is a dedicated hospitalist known for providing patient-centered, evidence-based care. A researcher with more than 75 peer-reviewed publications, Dr. Qureshi contributes to the medical profession through his roles on the editorial and review boards for several medical journals. He is passionate about mentoring the next generation of physicians. Dr. Qureshi earned his medical degree from the University of Health Sciences/Continental Medical College in Lahore, Pakistan, and completed his residency at BronxCare Health System/Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York. He is fluent in Urdu, Hindi, and Punjabi.
Rory Ulloque, MD is Holy Name’s Vice Chair of Family Medicine and Program Director for the Family Medicine Residency Program, which recently received accreditation by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).
A compassionate, clinically-accomplished physician, he provides care across all age groups and values the long-term relationships he builds with patients. He is also deeply committed to teaching and mentoring future physicians.
Raised in a historically underserved community in Northern New Jersey, Dr. Ulloque was inspired to pursue medicine as a way to give back. He chose family medicine for its unique opportunity to care for patients of all ages and be a consistent presence in their lives. Dr. Ulloque earned his medical degree and completed his residency at Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. There, he served as an Associate Professor in the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health, Medical Director of the Hospitalist Program, and physician advisor at RWJ University Hospital. A respected author and speaker, Dr. Ulloque has received multiple awards for his community service.
Joseph Yu, MD is a board-certified interventional cardiologist committed to delivering the most advanced care and building strong, respectful relationships with patients and their families. Dr. Yu earned his medical degree from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, then completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Brown University. He completed a Cardiology fellowship at Mount Sinai Beth Israel in Manhattan, where he served as chief fellow, followed by an Interventional Cardiology fellowship at NYU Langone Medical Center. Dr. Yu speaks Korean and Spanish.
Linneah Olsen, PA is a physician assistant specializing in obstetrics and gynecology. She delivers personalized care that reflects each patient’s unique needs, preferences, and values. Linneah has conducted research on dietary guidelines for women with polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS). She earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Elon University School of Health Science in North Carolina.
Brian J. Yang, PA strives to make sure each patient feels heard, understood, and comfortable. Brian earned his Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Katrina Castillo, MSN, FNP-C brings compassion, respect, and understanding to every patient interaction. As a family nurse practitioner, she is passionate about empowering individuals to take charge of their health and finds fulfillment in helping them improve their health. Katrina earned her Master of Science in Nursing from William Paterson University. Beyond her clinical expertise, she is also a mentor to early-career nurses, guiding them as they grow in the profession.
Nimmy James, NP takes an active interest in her patients to form meaningful relationships and deliver high-quality care. She finds it rewarding to contribute to a patient’s recovery and health management, and she emphasizes education by working closely with each patient to help them understand their condition and treatment plan. Ms. James holds a Master of Science in Nursing from Long Island University.
Elizabeth R. Mathews, NP is an adult gerontology nurse practitioner who is committed to building long-term, trusted relationships with her patients and identifying innovative ways to improve their health. Elizabeth earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Felician University. She speaks Malayalam.
